The Bulls of Kapfenberg are back on the Austrian Cup throne after beating Raiffeisen Panthers of Furstenfeld 73-69 on Sunday. The Bulls took early 19-9 and then 26-13 leads, but a 0-10 Panther run brought Furstenfeld within 36-31 at halftime. Late in the third quarter, Kapfenberg went ahead 57-48 before Furstenfeld climbed back to 62-60. Christian Kollik scored to keep Furstenfeld in the game at 69-67, but Jasmon Youngblood was perfect from the foul line to seal the win for Kapfenberg. An offensive rebound converted by Damir Zeleznik was simply not enough for the Panthers. Shawn Ray and Ramiz Suljanovic posted 19 points apiece for the winners, while Youngblood added 14. Trevor Gaines and Jason Dietrick had 16 apiece for Furstenfeld.
