Greek League, Game 22: March 28, 2007
Brent Scott - AEK Greek champion Panathinaikos continued its rout toward clinching the Greek League regular season crown as the Greens crushed Apollon Patras on the road 62-104 to improve their winning streak to five games, while keeping Aris and Olympiacos two wins behind. Olympiacos beat the other team from Patra, Olympiada, 81-68 at home, while Aris escaped from Egaleo with a 76-82 victory. In the other match ups, AEK edged Panionios by 83-80 thanks to the efforts of Giannis Gagaloudis and Brent Scott; Panellinios beat Maroussi 79-78 through a free throw by Anthony Goldwire with 14 seconds to go, AEL topped Makedonikos 67-62 behind 16 points from Arthur Lee and 13 from Zlatko Bolic; and Olympia Larissa escaped from PAOK with a very important 65-66 road win. PAOK's Jason Parker missed the potentially game-winning shot in the final seconds of the game.

Panathinaikos didn't have to work too hard to beat Apollon in Patra 104-62. Everyone seemed to get involved, but it was Sani Becirovic who led all scorers with 17 points. Mike Batiste and Dimos Dikoudis added 13 apiece, while Ramunas Siskauskas and Kostas Tsartsaris scored 12 and 10 points, respectively. Veteran guard Jimmy Oliver led Apollon with 15. Meanwhile in Faliro, Olympiacos had some problems during the first half as Olympiada Patras trailed only 36-37. However a much better third period gave Olympiacos the push it needed on the way to a clear 81-68 win. Giannis Bourousis led the winners with 17 points and 9 boards, while Henry Domercant scored 16 and Alex Acker 13. Antonis Asimakopoulos led the team from Patra with 20 points. Aris also came up big in the third quarter on the way to an important 76-82 road win over Egaleo, which fought hard until the end. Alex Scales was extraordinary, hitting six of his seven threes in the third quarter on the way to 27 points, while Jeremiah Massey added 17 points and 10 boards and Mike Wilkinson contributed 12 points plus 13 rebounds. Keidren Clark led the home team with 16 points.

In a dramatic game in the OAKA Olympic Indoor Hall, AEK found the strength to beat Panionios by 83-80 thanks to the efforts of Giannis Gagaloudis and Brent Scott, who scored 23 and 20 points respectively. Kennedy Winston led Panionios with 29 points. In Kipseli, Panellinios scored a tough 79-78 win over Maroussi through a free throw by Anthony Goldwire with 14 seconds to go. The veteran point guard finished with 19 points, but Michalis Pelekanos was the leading scorer with 24, while Renaldas Seibutis led Maroussi with 21 points. In Thessaloniki, Giorgos Printezis and Giorgos Apostolidis (15 and 14 points respectively) led Olympia Larissa to a huge 65-66 win. Vlado Scepanovic led PAOK with 22 points, while Jason Parker added 10, but missed the potentially game-winning shot in the final seconds of the game.
