Teemu Rannikko Union Olimpija Union Olimpija stayed atop the Slovenian League standings with a 5-0 record by thrashing Krka Novo Mesto 62-89 on the road on Wednesday. Teemu Rannikko led the winners with 23 points. Manu Markoishvili added 18, Marko Rakocevic had 12, Miha Zupan posted a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds while Sandi Cebular bagged 10 points in an easy road win for Olimpija, that led 35-46 at halftime and broke the game early in the final period to stay unbeaten. Helios Domzale stayed second at 4-1 by beating Alpos Sentjur 86-71 at home also on Wednesday. Aleksej Lashkevich paced the winners with 21 points while Miha Zalokar and Dario Krejic each added 13 for Helios, that led 48-39 at halftime and never had troubles to add another home win. Elektra stayed strong and also improved to 4-1 by edging TCG Loka Kava 72-71 behind 22 points from Ales Kunc and 21 from Boris Jersin. Last but not least, Geoplin Slovan edged Zlatorog 71-73 behind 26 points from Davor Marcelic.
