Slovenian League second phase, Game 6: April 14, 2007
Dario Krejic - Helios Domzale Helios Domzale provided the biggest surprise in the Slovenian League so far by handing Union Olimpija its first domestic loss of the season. Helios beat Olimpija 82-87 in Ljubljana on Saturday and now both teams tie atop the Slovenian League standings, each with a 5-1 record. Former Olimpija center Smiljan Pavic led the winners with 18 points. Robert Troha added 15 while Dario Krejic had 14 for Helios. Teemu Rannikko had 29 points for Olimpija, Sandi Cebular added 13, Miha Zupan 12 and Marko Rakocevic 10. Olimpija led 25-17 after 10 minutes and still kept a 67-63 edge at the end of the third quarter. Helios soon got a 70-72 edge and managed to escape with a valuable road win. Zlatorog also shocked everyone by thrashing Elektra Esotech 60-77 on the road also on Saturday. Slobodan Ocokoljic and Salih Nuhanovic each had 16 points in a big road win for Zlatorog, that led 43-66 after three quarters. Geoplin Slovan improved to 4-2 by beating Krka Novo Mesto 89-75 at home behind 23 points from Davor Marcelic. Finally, TCG Loka Kava got its first win in this stage by beating Alpos Sentjur 94-86 at home with 28 points from Simon Finzgar and 27 from Jure Erzen.
