Todor Stoykov - Lukoil The Bulgarian League regular season ended on Wednesday with defending champion Lukoil Academic Sofia cruising to an 86-74 win over Spartak Pleven. Academic finished with a 27-1 record and will next face Rilski Sportist in the best-of-three quarterfinals that begin on Monday. Todor Stoykov scored 22 and Donta Smith 20 in Wednesday's win. Meanwhile Balkan Botevgrad finished third despite an 89-82 loss at CSKA Sofia and will take on Pleven in the quarters. Carlos Cherry led CSKA with 28 points. Cherno More IG topped Levski 89-82 as Leven Beberov and Vladimir Marinov nailed 15 points apiece. In the quarterfinals, CSKA will challenge Yambol and Levski meet More.
