Latvian League, Quarterfinals, Game 3: April 22, 2007
Liepaja edged Valmiera 95-97 to win the teams' Latvian League playoff quarterfinal series 2-1 and set up a meeting with defending champion Ventspils in the semis. ASK Riga will face Barons/LMT in the other best-of-five semifinal. Barons beat Bumerangs in their series last week. In an exciting series in which the road team won every game, Mareks Jurevicus scored 26 and Dainis Obersats 20 to lead Liepaja to the clinching win. Andrejs Jansons was perfect from the field on his way to 23 points in 23 minutes for Valmiera.
