Smiljan Pavic - Helios Domzale Helios Domzale is now the exclusive leader atop the Slovenian League by edging Zlatorog 82-91 on the road on Wednesday. Smiljan Pavic led the winners with 25 points on 9-of-10 two-pointers. Robert Troha added 22 while Miha Zalokar had 12 for Helios. Jack Ingram had 18 points for Zlatorog, that trailed 50-72 after three quarters. The hosts tried to get into the game in the final period, but Helios held off the rally and cruised to a big win. Union Olimpija is now second at 7-2 due to a 73-69 road loss against cross-town rivals Geoplin Slovan. Davor Marcelic led the winners with 20 points while Gasper Vidmar added 18 for Slovan. Manu Markoishvili had 18 points for Olimpija, Teemu Rannikko added 12, Marko Rakocevic and Ivica Jurkovic each got 11 while Miha Zupan scored 10 points for the guests. Marcelic fired in 3 triples in the final period and even when Olimpija got within 71-69, Dejan Mlakar sealed the win with free throws. Elektra Esotech improved to 6-3 by downing Alpos Sentjur 86-73 at home on Wednesday behind 17 points from Jernej Mihalic. Finally, TCG Loka Kava edged Krka Novo Mesto 76-78 on the road on Tuesday with a game-winning basket by Primoz Skok with just 2 seconds remaining.
