Teemu Rannikko Union Olimpija Helios Domzale stayed atop the Slovenian League standings now with a 9-1 record by downing Krka Novo Mesto 82-70 at home on Saturday. Robert Troha led the winners with 20 points, Aleksej Laskevic added 18, Sasa Doncic had 16 and Aljaz Janza 14 for Helios, that trailed 42-45 at halftime but managed to seal the outcome long before the final buzzer. Union Olimpija stayed second at 8-2 by topping Elektra Esotech 78-66 in Ljubljana on Saturday. Teemu Rannikko paced the winners with 17 points, Marko Rakocevic added 15, Manu Markoishvili had 14 and Miha Zupan 11 for Olimpija, that led 23-13 after 10 minutes and managed to keep a safe margin all the way until the final buzzer. Geoplin Slovan confirmed its good moment by thrashing TCG Loka Kava 65-89 in Sfokja Loka behind 25 points from Gasper Vidmar and 24 from Davor Marcelic. Finally, Alpos Sentjur edged Zlatorog 86-83 to get its first win in this stage.
