Polish League Playoffs, Semifinals, Game 4: April 29-30, 2007
Anwil Wloclawek equaled its best-of-seven Polish League semifinals series with defending champion Prokom Trefl Sopot at 2-2 with an 82-74 win on Monday, while Turow Zgorzelec moved within one victory of reaching the Polish League finals for the first time in franchise history following two road victories over Asco Slask Wroclaw. Turow won 53-71 on Sunday and leads the series 3-1. The next game is scheduled on Saturday in Zgorzelec. Anwil took a 10-point advantage in second quarter against Prokom, but after the break, the visitors were was able to come back and cut the gap to 4 points. However Anwil did not waver on the way to a clutch win. The hero of the game was Anwil forward Zbigniew Bialek, who scored 26 points and had 7 rebounds. Chris Thomas and Otis Hill added 11 each. Christian Dalmau's 24 points were the most for Prokom, but he also had 7 turnovers. Donatas Slanina added 16, Adam Wojcik 11 and Tomas Masiulis finished with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Turow built a double-digit lead in the second period and held it till midway through the third. But then Slask came back to game and cut the gap to 46-50. That's when a mid-range jumper by Krzysztof Roszyk and Lukasz Koszarek's three extended the gap and Turow maintained it till the end of the game. Thomas Kelati led Turow with 13 points and Dragisa Drobnjak added 12. Brandun Hughes had 17 for Slask, which made just 20 of 67 shots from the field.
