Serbian League second phase, Game 5: May 2, 2007
Vladan Vukosavljevic Hemofarm Nothing changed atop the Serbian League standings, as Hemofarm stayed as the only team unbeaten after 5 games by thrashing Masinac 94-71 in Vrsac on Wednesday. Vladan Vukosavljevic led the winners with 24 points. Bojan Bakic added 19 while Nebojsa Joksimovic and Milenko Topic each had 10 in an easy home win for Hemofarm, that led 56-41 at halftime and never looked back. Partizan took the biggest game in this round by edging archrivals Crvena Zvezda 88-92 in Pionir Arena, Belgrade also on Wednesday. Partizan improved to 4-1 while Zvezda dropped to 2-3. Vonteego Cummings and Predrag Drobnjak paced the winners each with 15 points. Milenko Tepic added 11 while Dusan Kecman and Uros Tripkovic had 10 apiece for Partizan. Milan Gurovic had 24 points for Zvezda, Vuk Radivojevic added 17 and Kebu Stewart 13. Both teams were tied at 83-83 but Cummings stepped up with 4 free throws to pur Partizan ahead for good. FMP improved to 4-1 by thrashing Vojvodina 82-63 at home. Zoran Erceg led the way for FMP with 16 points, Predrag Samardziski added 14, Zoran Osmokrovic had 12 and Bojan Krstovic 11 in an easy win for the hosts. Finally, Mega Ishrana beat Sloga 78-94.
