Czech League Playoffs, Quarterfinals Game 1: May 9, 2007
In an incredible upset, CEZ Basketball Nymburk, which finished the regular season in the Czech League with an amazing 41-3 record, lost |Game 1 of the Czech League quarterfinals to NH Ostrava 82-70. Ostrava, which went 22-22 during the regular season, used a 23-14 third quarter to take control. Zbbynek Pospisil and Mike Mitchel scored 18 points apiece to lead the way, while Darius Washington had 20 in defeat. In other quarterfinal games, BK Kondori Liberec topped BK Decin 80-62 as Jiri Cernosek had 20 points; Denis Mujagic scored 31 points to help BK Synthesia Pardubice edge BK Prostejov 82-78 and Mlekarna Kunin defeated A Plus ZS Brno 72-68 behind 16 points apiece from Marek Stec and Travis Williams.
