Croatian League, second phase Game 10: May 8-9, 2007
Brindley Wright - Cibona Cibona Zagreb and Zadar remained atop the table of the Croatian League second phase with 9-1 records by beating Cedevita 88-57 and Zagreb 89-86, respectively. Cibona took care of business early and led for all 40 minutes behind 16 points and 10 rebounds from Brindley Wright. Barisa Nkrasci added 15 points and 8 rebounds and Chris Warren had 12 points and 11 rebounds. Meanwhile, Pankracije Baraac had 26 points and Juby Johnson 22 to help Zadar edge Zagreb 89-86. Josip Sesar led the guests with 23. Juby Johnson drilled back-to-back triples to propel his side to the win. Denis Vrsaljko missed two free throws late that could have tied the game. In other games, Kvarner Rijeka beat Borik Puntamika 83-72 as Petar Males scored 25 points and Split downed Svjetlost 105-85 to hold onto third place with a 7-3 record.
