Dutch League Finals, Game 2: May 12, 2007
Leon Rodgers - EiffelTowers EiffelTowers Den Bosch took another step towards winning back-to-back Dutch League titles by topping Matrixx Magixx Nijmegen 66-79 on the road to take a 2-0 lead in the finals series. Game 3 of the best-of-seven series is set for Tuesday. Leon Rodgers led the way for EiffelTowers in Game 3 by scoring 22 points, while Travis Young added 13. The visitors took a slim 12-14 lead at the end of the first quarter and raised the cushion to 29-37 at halftime. Chris Carrawell sounded the charge for Nijmegen, as the hosts climbed within 52-56 at the end of the third quarter. Carrawell then scored the first bucket early in the last period to make it 54-56, but Rodgers helped his side to keep the hosts back and Den Bosch maintained a safe margin the rest of the way to earn a deserved victory.
