Serbian League second phase, Game 8: May 12-13, 2007
Branko Cvetkovic - BC FMP Nothing changed atop the Serbian League standings, as Hemofarm, Partizan and FMP keep tying atop the standings, each with a 7-1 record. Hemofarm did not find much trouble to down Sloga 94-79 at home on Saturday. Miljan Rakic led 6 Hemofarm players in double digits with 15 points. Vanja Plisnic added 14, Bojan Bakic had 13, Vladan Vukosavljevic 12 while Stefan Markovic and Milenko Topic each got 10 in an easy home win for Hemofarm, that led 53-44 at halftime and did not find much trouble to keep a safe margin for good. Partizan also improved to 7-1 by thrashing Mega Ishrana 76-95 on the road on Sunday. Nikola Pekovic paced the winners with 18 points, Predrag Drobnjak added 16, Dusan Kecman and Uros Tripkovic each had 12 while Kosta Perovic got 11 for Partizan, that broke the game open in the third quarter and never looked back. FMP had to battle harder to edge Crvena Zvezda 81-86 in Belgrade on Saturday. Branko Cvetkovic had 19 points for FMP while Bojan Krstovic and Milos Teodosic each added 18 for the winners. Milan Gurovic had 23 points for Zvezda, Igor Milosevic 16 and Tadija Dragicevic 13. FMP led 60-71 with 5 minutes to go and held off a Zvezda rally to win the game. Finally, Vojvodina beat Masinac 76-81 behind 20 points from Istvan Nemeth.
