Croatian League, second phase Game 11: May 11-13, 2007
Chris Warren - Cibona Cibona Zagreb and Zadar remain atop the Croatian League table after their respective wins over the weekend saw them each improve to 10-1. Cibona topped Split 85-91 on the road, while Zadar beat Svjetlost 107-83. Zadar started off on fire with a 20-7 run, led at halftime 53-37, and never looked back. Jure Lalic had 21 points and Carl English 19 for the winners. Meanwhile, Cibona and Split played a close game, which was tied at 45-45 at halftime. However, during the third quarter, the defending champion took a 51-59 cushion and held on the rest of the way, despite Larry Ayuso's attempts at a comeback. Chris Warren led Cibona with 18 points and 10 rebounds and Marin Rozic added 16. Ayuso made seven triples and poured in 33 points for Split. In other games, Zagreb beat Kvarner Rijeka 89-76 led by 21 points apiece from Josip Seasar and Dwayne Broyles, while Cedevita topped Borik Puntamika 75-84 on the road as Adam Harrington scored 24.
