Latvian League finals, Game 4: May 16, 2007
ASK Riga downed Ventspils 76-60 in Game 4 of the best-of-seven Latvian-League finals and is now just one step away from killing a dynasty. Riga now leads the series 3-1 and looks ready to become the first Latvian champion this decade as Ventspils has won the last sevens Latvian titles. Torraye Braggs led the winners with 25 points and Sandis Valters added 17, while Akselis Vairos and Eddie Shannon had 11 apiece for Ventspils. The hosts earned with a narrow 14-12 margin at the end of the first quarter and built it up to 38-27 at halftime. Ventspils reacted back from the locker rooms, but Riga still led 51-42 after 30 minutes and held on as the sold-out Arena Riga celebrated a big win.
