Swiss League finals, Game 2: May 19, 2007
Lugano Tigers tied the best-of-five Swiss League finals by downing Olympic Fribourg 83-66. Edwin Draughan posted 18 points for Lugano, Christopher Grimm added 16 and Andrija Crngorac 15. Harold Mrazek bagged 15 for Fribourg. Lugano dominated under the boards by pulling down 15 offensive rebounds. The hosts started the game on fire and held Fribourg to just 9 points in the first quarter for a 6-point lead. The cushion grew to 38-20 at halftime. Olympic made its big effort back from the lockers to get within 57-43 entering the final 10 minutes, but they were never a real threat for Lugano. Game 3 is on Saturday in Fribourg.
