Nikola Prkacin - Efes Pilsen Efes Pilsen beat Turk Telekom 78-86 in Ankara on Monday to advance to the Turkish League finals against Fenerbahce Ulker. Efes won its best-of-five semifinals series 3-1 and ensured that the top two teams from the regular season will battle in the finals. Drew Nicholas scored 25 points and dished 8 assists to pace Efes to a clutch road win. Nicholas shined as the visitors raced out to a 12-20 start, but Tutku Acik led Telekom on a 10-0 run as the opening period ended 22-22. Nicholas fed Kerem Gonlum and Ermal Kuqo during a 0-9 spurt that helped Efes take a 40-47 halftime advantage. The cushion reached double figures in the third period, which ended 58-69, but Erwin Dudley and Jan Jagla helped get the hosts back in the game in the fourth quarter. Telekom made it 78-82, but Efes awoke in time and held on for the win. Nikola Prkacin added 17 points and Marcus Haislip had 9 for the winners. Haluk Yildrim led Telekom with 16 points, Jagla added 15, Muratcan Guler 14 and Acik finished with 11 points and 10 assists.
