Zoran Erceg - BC FMP FMP beat Partizan Belgrade for the second straight time on Wednesday in a Serbian League clash. FMP's 85-76 victory allowed the club to remain in a tie for first place with Hemofarm Vrsac at 9-2. Partizan dropped to third at 8-3. Hemofarm dumped Mega Ishrana 86-76. Meanwhile Crvena Zvezda crushed Masinac 105-76 and Vojvodina beat Sloga on the road 83-90. Zoran Erceg and Brank Cvetkovic scored all the points during a 13-0 second-period run as FMP went ahead for good. Erceg then ended the first half with a triple to make it 43-35. Predrag Drobnjak brought Partizan within 3 late in the third quarter, but Fmp came back with 7 unanswered points and coasted to a clutch win. Cvetkovic led five FMP scorers in double figures with 18, Erceg and Dragan Labovic added 16 each, Milos Teodosic had 13 and Bojan Krstovic 10. Uros Tripkovic led Partizan with 15, Vonteego Cummings added 14 and Nikola Pekovic 13. In Vrsac, after Mega Ishrana's Milovan Rakovic tied the score at 54-54 late in the third quarter, Bojan Bakic hit a pair of threes during a 14-3 run as Hemofarm put the game away. Milos Borisov and Vanja Plisnic scored 13 points apiece, Predrag Suput and Velimir Radinovic had 12 and Bakic added 11. Miladin Pekovic led Mega Ishrana with 18. Nemanja Aleksandrov exploded for 25 points to pace Crvena Zvezda in its 29-point victory. Nenad Misanovic added 19 points, Petar Popovic 16, Pero Antic 12 and Tadija Dragicevic 10 for Crvena Zvezda, which faces Partizan next week in a battle for third place.
