Polish League finals, Game 3: May 25, 2007
Filip Dylewicz - Prokom Trefl Prokom Trefl Sopot is within a single victory of taking its fourth consecutive Polish League title after defeating Turow 66-69 on the road Friday in Game 4 of their best-of-seven final series. Prokom now leads the series 3-0 and will shoot for its first-ever sweep on Sunday in Game 4, also at Turow. Prokom needed a perfect shooting night from forward Filip Dylewicz in order to stay perfect in the finals. Dylewicz came off the bench to nail all 4 of his two-pointers and free throws while going 3 for 3 from downtown to finish with 21 points for the winners. Christian Dalmau follwed him with 18 points, while Huseyin Besok balanced them inside with 11 points. Andres Rodriguez led Turow with 14 points, while Robert Witka added 13. Turow enjoyed a 21-15 advantage after the first quarter, but Prokom got back in the game during the middle quarters. By halftime the visitors had climed within 38-35, and then after the break, their defense tightened as Dylewicz took over, supplying a 47-52 advantage going into the last 10 minutes. Turow recovered its offense in the final 10 minutes, but Prokom saved enough firepower to hold on for the key road win.
