Austrian League Finals, Game 1: May 27, 2007
Defending champions Sawns Gmunden thrashed Gunners Oberwart 85-66 in Game 1 of the Austrian League's best-of-five finals. The guests from Oberwart got a slim 15-17 lead after 10 minutes but Gmunden reacted and climbed ahead 40-37 at halftime. Back from the lockers, Gmunden took off on a 25-15 run to raise the difference to 65-52 and extend it to the final 29 points in the last quarter. Ian Boylan led the winners with 25 points and Detrei Mayes added 16 for Swans while Adam Boone had 20 and Armond Williams 14 for the Gunners.
