Serbian League second phase, Game 13: May 30, 2007
Milan Gurovic - Crvena Zvezda Hemofarm and FMP will fight for the top spot at the end of the Serbian League second phase, as both teams are tied at 11-2 with one game to go in the regular season. Hemofarm needs to beat Vojodina in Novi Sad to finish first, while FMP will need to beat Mega Ishrana and wait for Hemofarm to lose. Partizan will be third no matter what while Crvena Zvezda conquered fourth place by edging Vojvodina 103-102 in Belgrade behind 41 points from an incredible Milan Gurovic, who drew 17 fouls and made 24-of-26 free throws. Tadija Dragicevic added 15 while Igor Milosevic and Vuk Radivojevic each had 13 in a crucial win for Zvezda. Strahinja Milosevic had 30 points for Vojvodina. Hemofarm got closer to clinch first place by edging Partizan 95-91 in Vrsac also on Tuesday. Predrag Suput paced the winners with 23 points, Nebojsa Joksimovic added 14, Bojan Bakic had 12 while Velimir Radinovic and Milenko Topic each got 11 for Hemofarm, that rallied from a six-point deficit in the fourth quarter to win the game. Nikola Pakovic led 6 Partizan players in double digits with 17 points. Vonteego Cummings added 16, Vladimir Micov 14, Predrag Drobnjak 13, Milenko Tepic 11 and Uros Tripkovic 10. FMP had less troubles to down Sloga 100-80 at home. Branko Cvetkovic led the way for FMP with 21 points, Zoran Erceg added 19, Bojan Krstovic had 14 while Dragan Labovic and Djordje Micic each got 11 for the winners. Finally, Masinac edged Mega Ishrana 91-88 behind 26 points from Uros Mirkovic.
