Czech League Semifinals, Game 5: May 30, 2007
BK Prostejov made it to the Czech League finals! Prostejov advanced to the title series against defending champion CEZ Basketball Nymburk by downing BK Decin 71-83 on the road in do-or-die Game 5 on Tuesday night to win the best-of-five semifinal series 2-3. Lamar Butler led the winners with 15 points. Igor Koudelin added 14 while Radek Necas, Sylvere Bryan and Cameron Crisp each had 12 for Prostejov. Levelll Sanders led BK Decin with 17 points, Peter Mulligan added 14 while Pavel Milos had 13 for the hosts, who led 57-56 at the end of the third quarter. A 14-27 run in the final period was more than enough for Prostejov to get its second road win in the series and advance to the best-of-five finals, that will start on June 1. Becin will face A Plus ZS Brno BC in best-of-three third place playoff.
