Croatian League Finals, Game 2: June 5, 2007
Jakov Vladovic - Zadar The best-of-five Croatian League finals are tied at one game apiece after Zadar turned back visiting Cibona 91-83 on Tuesday. It was a tale of two halves as Cibona pumped in 52 points to win the first by double digits, while Zadar did their guests a few better in the second. Jakov Vladovic and Jure Lalic poured in 18 points each for the winners. Todor Gecevski followed with 17 points, Juby Johnson with 13 and Carl English with 11 and 6 assists. Cibona was paced by Luksa Andric with 19 points, Barisa Krasic with 18 and Marin Rozic with 15. Zadar won a close first quarter 23-21, after which Cibona exploded in the second with 31 points to take a 52-42 halftime advantage. Zadar turned the tables in the third quarter, outscoring their guests by 27-16, and kept up the defense in the last 10 minutes to win going away. Game 3 is on Saturday in Zagreb.
