Bulgarian League, Game 4: October 26, 2006
All three top teams in the Bulgarian League won their respective mid-week Round 4 games, as Lukoil, CSKA and Yambol stay unbeaten in the competition. Lukoil Academic thrashed Dunav 105-55 with as many as eight players scoring in double figures, led by 16 apiece nailed by Gjorgji Cekovski and Georgi Davidov. Thomas Mobley added 14 and Chavdar Kostov had 13. CSKA Sofia got a huge 79-93 win on Cherno More IG court behind 21 points of Adrian Pledger and 17 posted by Dimitar Mirakovski. Meanwhile, Yambol needed overtime to edge Rilski Sportist 78-77 led by 28 points bagged by Stanislav Govedarov and by the double-double set by Volodymir Rizhov with 18 points and 10 rebounds. In the other games, Spartak Pleven beat Levski 83-81 while Balkan downed Spartak MVR 75-63.
