Defending champions EiffelTowers Den Bosch improved to 7-0 atop the Dutch League standings Saturday by topping second-placed of Matrixx Magixx Nijmegen on the road, 67-79. The score was tied at 33-33 at halftime before EiffelTowers took a slim 50-55 margin at the end of the third period. Leon Rodgers's double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds, combined with 13 from Travis Young paced the Den Bosch effort. Alhaji Mohammed led Nijmegen with 19. In other games, Omniworld Almere edged Hanzevast Capitlas Groningen 54-58 behid 13 points apiece from Tony Miller and Tjoede Paula. Danny Lee Jones scored 20 points to push Landstede Zwolle past Astronauts of Amsterdam 79-72. In Sunday's game, Rotterdam bested Upstairs Weert 91-72 behind the inside play of Anthony Dill and Kenneth Henderson. Dill finished with 20 points and 11 boards, while Henderson had 15 points and 17 rebounds. James Mathis scored 23 for Weert in defeat.
