Swiss League, Game 6: November 4, 2006
Birstal Starwings and Olympic Fribourg remain unbeaten atop the Swiss League after respective road wins over Meyrin Grand-Sacconex and Sion-Herens. Starwings scored an 87-101 victory with a big fourth quarter. The hosts remained close and were just a point down, 62-63, midway through the third quarter, before Birstal pulled away. Raymond Henderson led the way with 21 points, while Jarred McCurry and Mike Coffin tallied 20 apiece. Pascal Perrier-David posted 22 points to lead Olympic Fribourg to a 69-87 win at Sion-Herens. Oliver Vogt chipped in 15 and Harold Mrazek added 14. BC Boncourt topped 101-86 Lausanne-Morges behind 39 points from Erroyl Bing, despite their coach, Randoald Dessarzin, being sent off during the first quarter. Michael Doles and Alon Stein led five players in double figures as the Geneva Devils to beat Nyon 73-91 on the road. Also, BBC Monthey defeated Vevey Riviera Basket 62-73.
