Olympic Fribourg and Birstal Starwings remain unbeatn atop the Swiss League table after round 7. Olympic thrashed 101-73 Meyrin Grand Sacconex. exploding after the halftime break with a 27-11 partial to lead at the end of the third quarter, 81-55. Brandon Polk produced for 22 points and Dave Esterkamp contributed with 18 for the winners. Birstal Starwings outlasted 89-69, Riviera Vevey Basket, behind 33 points nailed by Jarred McCurry and 18 bagged by Raymond Henderson. BBC Monthey climbed to the third place in the standings, raising its record to 5-2, topping 83-69 BBC Nyon led by 32 points bagged by Yuanta Holland. Geneva Devils dominated the game against the defending champions of Lugano Tigers, by winning 74-64, but they already led 22-10 after ten minutes. Franck Bennett chipped in 20 points for the Devils, while Edwin Draughan was the best scorer for the Tigers. Lausanne Morges got a thrillling 74-73 win over Sion Herens and Tony Brown led the way tallying 25 points.
