Bulgarian League, Game 10: November 25-26, 2006
Todor Stoykov - LukoilCSKA Sofia remained the unbeaten leader of the Bulgarian League with a 10-0 record by thrashing Dunav 86-53. Jordan Bozov led the way with 21 points, Dimitar Anguellov added 14 and Sinisa Avramovski 13. Simeon Tsenov led Dunav with 15. Lukoil Academic is one game back after topping Balkan 91-76 behind 32 points from Todor Stoykov. The game was balanced in the first half with the hosts leading 51-43. Lukoil made its run in the third quarter, increasing the cushion to 74-59. Then Lamont Jones and co. managed the lead for the last 10 minutes. Lamont Barnes finished with a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds, Jones amassed 14 points and 11 assists, Georgi Davidov chipped in 12 and Asen Velikov 10. Dwayne Morton led Balkan with 19. Spartak Pleven outlasted Yambol 99-78 behind Hrisimir Dimitrov's 23 points. Levski edged Rilski Sportist 82-76 as Yuliyan Radionov netted 17 and Cherno More IG beat Spartak MVR 81-57.
