Leon Rodgers - EiffelTowersEiffelTowers of Den Bosch thrashed 99-76 Astronauts of Amsterdam to stay atop the Dutch League table with a perfect 12-0 record. The hosts led 42-35 at halftime and increased cushion in the third quarter with a 29-12 run. Leon Rodgers led the way with 23 points and with 9 assists, Sam Jones chipped in 16, Sharone Wright 14 and Eric Nelson 13. Will Chavis led Amsterdam with 23 points and 5 assists and Stefen Wessels added 21 points and 10 rebounds. Polynorm Giants of Bergen op Zoom climbed to second place with an 8-3 record by edging Zorg en Zekerheid 62-65 on the road behind 21 points from Tyrone Riley and a double-double of 13 points and 18 rebounds from Monwell Randle. Chris Carawell posted a triple-double as Matrixx Magixx topped 85-79 Rotterdam. Carawell led five scorers in double figures with 19 points, added 12 rebounds and 10 assists. In other games, Hanzevats Capitlas took a slim 86-82 success over Woon! Aris and Omniworld Almere outlasted Upstairs Weert 105-89.
