Bulgarian League, Game 11: December 2-3, 2006
Riste Stefanov - Lukoil Academic CSKA Sofia remained atop the Bulgarian League table with a perfect 11-0 record by thrashing Spartak Pleven 98-66 behind Adrian Pledger's 26 points and 14 rebounds. Dimitar Mirakovski added 16 points and 7 assists for CSKA. Defending champion Lukoil Academic Sofia improved to 10-1 by topping Spartak MVR on the road 69-99. The game was a cakewalk for the visitors, who led 13-24 at the and of the first quarter and 32-47 at halftime. Asen Velikov led six scorers in double figures with 21 points for Lukoil. Riste Stefanov added 14, while Lamont Barnes, Chavdar Kostov, Taliek Brown and Georgi Davidov scored 11 apiece. Ludmil Hadjisotirov led Spartak with 32. In other games, Stefan Georgiev scored 24 points to help Levski to an away win over Dunav, 76-88; Balkan got 26 points and 13 rebounds from Dwayne Morton to outlast Yambol 80-69 and Rilski Sportist got 28 from Aleksandar Gruev as it crushed ChernoMore IG 95-74.
