Dutch League, Game 18: December 16-17, 2006
EiffelTowers Den Bosch stayed true to form in the Dutch League, edging Matrixx Magixx at home on Sunday 76-72. Travis Young scored 18, while three players posted double-doubles: Jos Frederiks had 16 points and 12 rebounds, Leon Rodgers amassed 16 points, 10 boards and 3 blocks and Eric Nelson finished with 11 points, 10 boards and 3 blocks to push the defending champions to an amazing 17-1 record. Chris Carrawell led Matrixx Magixx with 17 points and 8 rebounds. James Mathis helped Upstairs Weert, to the tune of 25 points and 14 rebounds in an 83-76 beating of Rotterdam, while Hanzevast-Capitals of Groningen thrashed Omniworld 52-73 on the road to climb to a 10-7 record, as Dan Oppland bagged 17 points. Woon Aris! needed an extra session to beat Polynorm Giants on the road 92-94, with Herman Favors producing 23 points and 8 assists. And Astronauts Amsterdam thrashed 92-62 Landstede behind 26 points and 7 rebounds from Jamal Brown.
