Swiss League, Game 14: January 13, 2007
Olympic Fribourg dumped Nyon 62-93 on the road to stay atop the Swiss League table with an 11-1 record. Brandon Polk led the Fribourg effort with 25 points and Tresore Quidome added 22. Birstal Starwings scored a thrilling 86-85 win over Boncourt after dominating the first three quarters. The hosts led 71-55 after 30 minutes, but Boncourt stormed back and took it to the wire. Jarred McCurry led Starwings with 22 points as his team improved to 10-3. Nenad Delic and Raymond Henderson added 12 apiece for the winners, while Erroyl Bing and Kelyn Block combined for 45 points for Boncourt. Lugano crushed BBC Monthey 88-76 as Edwin Draughan chipped in 33 points for the hosts and Yuanta Holland had 24 for the visitors. In other games, the Geneva Devils beat Lausanne Morges 90-73 and Meyrin Grand Sacconex defeated Vevey Riviera on the road 69-80 behind 21 points from Corey Williams.
