Polish League, Game 15: January 13-14, 2007
Donatas Slanina - Prokom Trefl Prokom Trefl Sopot earned a comfortable 105-69 victory over Kotwica Kolobrzeg to remain tied at the top of Polish League together with Turow Zgorzelec with 12-3 records. Turow defeated Gipsar Stal Ostrow at home 69-63. Anwil Wloclawek got back on track under new coach Ales Pipan through an 83-55 decision over AZS Koszalin. Kager Gdynia beat Polpharma 70-76 on the road behind a 10-point, 16-rebound and 5-block performance from Aaron Pettway. Patrick Okafor had 21 points and 8 rebounds for Polpharma. Five players scored in double figures for Znicz in a comfortable 85-65 victory over Unia Tarnów. Meanwhile, Energa Czarni Slupsk needed overtime to beat Polonia Warsaw 81-79 thanks to Mantas Cesnaukis's triple on the final possession. Alex Dunn scored 22 points for Czarni, while Grady Reynolds had 22 points and 17 rebounds for Polonia, which has lost 9 of its last 10 games.

Prokom easily beat Kotwica by taking control early in the opening period and never looking back. Donatas Slanina led the Polish champs with 23 points. Adam Wojcik added 18, Huseyin Besok had 16 in just 12 minutes, Jasmim Hukic 12 and Tomas Pacesas 10. Sebastian Machowski scored 18 for Kotwica. Anwil Wloclawek snapped AZS’s six-game winning streak with an 83-55 decision. The visitors were limited to just 20 first-half points and trailed by 22 as Anwil cruised after that. Andrzej Pluta led Anwil with 19 points, Goran Jagodnik added 18, and Otis Hill and Zbigniew Biaek both finished with 16. Chris Hunter had 13 to lead AZS.

Asco Slask Wroclaw opened the game against Polpak Swiecie with 16-0 run, but than guests almost fully came back. Slask finally took control in the last quarter thanks to Dean Oliver, who finished with 11 points. Former Slask player Robert Skibniewski also had 11 to lead Polpak before being fouled out. Turow Zgorzelec remains tied atop the league following a 69-63 victory over Stal Ostrow. Andres Rodriguez led Turow with 15 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds, while ex-Turow player Wojciech Szawarski had 16 points for Stal.
