The defending champs led 47-58 and extended their margin to 64-96 at the end of the third quarter, making 34-of-53 two-pointers along the way. Sharone Wright and Eric Nelson led the way with respective double-doubles. Wright scored 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, while Eric Nelson tallied 14 points with 12 boards. Leon Rodgers was the high scorer with 18 points and Roye Berkowitz dished 12 assists. Astronauts Amsterdam edged Polynoprm Giants 60-65 as Tamien Trent bagged 16 points and Shea Washington posted 13 and pulled down 13 rebounds. Matrixx Magixx outlasted Zorg en Zekerheid 89-79 behind 31 points from Alhaji Mohammed, while Rotterdam beat Omniworld Almere 73-63.
