Barons/LMT and Ventspils remained unbeaten after the third week of the Latvian League second phase. Barons extended its record to 4-0 by outlasting Bumerangs 63-77 on the road as Curtis Marshall scored 17 points. Ventspils climbed to 3-0 by topping ASK Riga 85-65 behind 20 from Uvis Helmanis and Justin Love's 15. Liepaja took a 59-76 success at Falco/Kei, while in back-to-back games over the weekend, Valmiera beat Bumerangs 92-99 on the road, but lost 89-87 in a thriller at ASK/Jun court. Liepaja comfortably beat ASK/Jun 78-93 as Marek Jurevicus posted 21 points.
