EiffelTowers Den Bosch continued to stroll to what would be their second straight Dutch League title with a 74-87 away win over second place Matrixx Magixx Nijmegen on Thursday. The victory saw EiffelTowers improve their record to 23-2 – some seven wins more than Nijmegen and Hanzevast-Capitals Groningen , both at 16-10. Leon Rodgers led the way for Den Bosch, amassing a double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds, while Sam Jones scored 15 and dished 7 assists and Travis Young tallied 12 points. Seamus Boxley had 20 points and 10 rebounds in defeat. Hanzevast-Capitals caught Matrixx Magixx by edging Omniworld Almere 71-76 as Darnell Hinson drilled 22 points. Landstede Zwolle topped Astronauts of Amsterdam 84-72 behind 26 points from John Williams and 17 points and 15 rebounds from Travis Parker. In other games, Woon! Aris scored a thrilling 71-67 win over Polynorm Giants while Upstairs Weert stunned Rotterdam 74-82 on the road.
