Swiss National Cup final: February 10, 2007
Olympic Fribourg triumphed in the Swiss National Cup final by crushing the Lugano Tigers 83-55.The Tigers remained close in the early going, but minute-by-minute Olympic increased its margin to take a 38-26 advantage at halftime. The lead grew to 72-43 with 5 minutes left as the Fribourg fans were able to celebrate the big win early. Tresore Quidome led the way with 17 points, Lorenzo Orr added 16 and David Esterkamp bagged 14. Edwin Draughan, who scored 18 points, was the only player in double figures for Lugano.
