British League, Week 20: February 9-11, 2007
Poujoulat Heat Guildford remained in first place in the British Basketball League after splitting a pair of games over the weekend. Guildford lost at DMU Leicester Riders 93-84 on Saturday as Terrance McGee drilled five triples on the way to 32 points, but the team bounced back Sunday, edging Marshall MK Lions 102-99 behind 26 points from Brian Dux. The Lions were coming off a 107-64 thrashing of London United on Friday, where Tony Windless led the way with 29 points. London bounced back to edge Worcester Wolves 85-82 on Saturday as Tarick Johnson scored 31. Scottish Phoenix Honda Rocks improved to 14-10 after winning on Friday and Sunday. The Rocks got 24 and 22 points from Sterling Davis to beat Newcastle Eagles 73-77 and Chester Jets 107-83.
