Paulius Jankunas - Zalgiris Kaunas Zalgiris Kaunas remained unbeaten atop the Baltic League Division I table by topping Barons/LMT, while Lietuvos Rytas thrashed ASK Riga to hold on to second place. Zalgiris improved to 4-0 after its 73-54 win. The game was tied at 15-15 late in the first quarter, but then Zalgiris went on a 25-4 run to put the game in ice. Paulius Jankunas tallied 15 points and 8 rebounds, while Hanno Mottola collected 12 with 6 boards for the winners. In L. Rytas's first match under coach Aleksandar Trifunovic, the Lithuanian champs outlasted ASK Riga 85-55 after leading 45-29 at halftime. Joao Paolo Batista and Matthew Nielsen bagged 16 points apiece, Arturas Jomantas added 11 and Karem Rush chipped in 10. Curtis Millage scored 18 in defeat. Siauliai climbed to third at 3-2 by topping Barons 75-62 behind 21 points posted by Aurimas Kieza.
