Defending champion EiffelTowers Den Bosch came from behind to down Hanzevast Capitals 79-69 on Thursday and improve to 24-2 in the Dutch League. The guests led 34-41 at halftime and 52-58 entering in the last quarter, but Leon Rodgers set the tone for the comeback. Rodgers finished an impressive night with 32 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Sam Jones added 16 and Travis Young 14 for the winners, while Darnell Hinson tallied 17 for Groningen. Also on Thursday night, Rotterdam topped Astronuats of Amsterdam 79-65 behind 18 points and 10 rebounds from Anthony Dill, while Kenneth Henderson totaled 14 points and 12 boards. On Saturday night, Rotterdam scored its second win in three days by crushing Landstede 80-66 as Kennneth Henderson amassed 19 points and 11 rebounds. Matrixx Magixx Nijmegen maintained the second place in the table with a 97-79 win over Polynorm Giants, while Hanzevast Capitals topped Upstairs Weert 94-73 behind 20 points apiece from Hinson and Chris Woods. Tom Van Passen nailed 24 points to help Astronauts take a thrilling 100-104 success over Woon! Aris after an extra session. Mike Nahar had 23 points in a slim 72-74 road-win for Omniworld Almere over Zorg-en-Zekerheid.
