Polish League, Game 20: February 24-25, 2007
Christian Dalmau - Prokom Trefl Prokom Trefl Sopot won its 10th straight game in the Polish League, but this one over bottom-of-the-table Unia Tarnow may have been the easiest. The Polish champs triumphed 61-99 behind 33 points from Christian Dalmau. The weekend action also saw some excitement as three games were decided in overtime, including in Anwil’s road victory over Kager Gdynia 81-89. Haris Nana had a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds in Polpak’s 78-69 overtime victory over Czarni Slupsk. Mantas Cesnauskis scored 18 for guests. Gipsar Stal needed overtime to beat Znicz Jaroslaw 109-103. Wojciech Szawarski's 24 points led six Stal players in double figures. Ricky Clemons had 22, while Sani Ibrahim added 13 and 14 rebounds for Znicz. Rafal Bigus had 22 points and 12 rebounds and Courtney Daniels added 19 and 9 to lead Kotwica to 80-76 victory over Polpharma. Newcomers Zendon Hamilton and Brandun Hughes helped Slask beat AZS Koszalin 54-60. In their second game for Wroclaw team, they were the best Slask scorers with 15 and 10 points respectively. Brandon Spann scored 16 for AZS, which lead by 7 coming into the last quarter. Polonia Warsaw was limited at home to just 29 points in the first three quarters, by Turow and finally lost 54-80. Robert Witka scored 17 points, including five triples for Turow.

Dalmau drilled eight triples on his way to season-high 33 points for the defending Polish champs, who were without injured Adam Wojcik. Prokom built a lead of nearly 30 points in the first half alone. Michael Andersen finished with 13 points, the same as 19-year-old Przemysław Zamojski, who played his best game so far. The game was scheduled to be at Tarnów, but played at Sopot, because of Unia’s financial problems. Przemysław Hajnsz posted 17 in defeat. At Gdynia, Anwil lead by 5 in the last minute of regulation, but nearly lost on Lukasz Ratajczak's buzzer-beater. The guests escaped in overtime by racing out from the beginning and controling the game mainly thanks to Otis Hill, who finished with 24 points. Goran Jadodnik added 17 and Zbigniew Białek 15 for Anwil. Courtney Eldridge had 32 points, 4 assists and 5 steals for Kager.
