Partizan had to battle harder than expected to edge Buducnost 81-79 in overtime at home on Saturday. Kosta Perovic led the winners with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Vonteego Cummings added 14 points, Uros Tripkovic had 13, Milenko Tepic 11 and Predrag Drobnjak 10. Zarko Rakocevic had 20 for Buducnost, that led 32-34 at halftime and improved its margin to 63-67 with 2 minutes to go. Cummings hit a critical triple and soon added free throws to tie it at 69-69. Tripkovic hit 4 of 4 free throws but Nenad Mijatovic made just 4 of 6, missing a key one that allowed Partizan to stay alive, 73-73, at the end of regulation. Free throws by Vladimir Micov gave the guests their last lead, 77-78. Perovic stepped up with a three-point play, Miljan Pavkovic and Tepic made a foul shot apiece while Vladimir Dasic missed a shot that would have taken the game to double overtime.
