Dutch League, Game 35: March 10-11, 2007
EiffelTowers Den Bosch edged away Upstairs Weert 86-92 on Saturday to improve to an amazing 30-2 record atop the Dutch-League table. The game was close with the teams exchanging leads throughout much of the first half, which ended with the defending champs ahead 43-46. EiffelTowers led only 68-71 at the end of the third quarter, but the visitors were able to hold on in the final period. Leon Rodgers led the way with 25 points and 10 rebounds, while Travis Young contributed 22 points. Sharone Wright added 12 points and 11 boards and Kees Akerboom posted 12. Andre Burton had 21 points and 6 assists for Weert in defeat. Astronauts Amsterdam defeated Matrixx Magixx 79-76 behind 24 points from Peter Van Paassen. In Sunday's games, Polynorm Giants edged Omniworld 89-88 as Tyrone Riley drilled 34 points and Zorg en Zekerheid topped Landstede on the road 68-77 behind 29 points from Donald Wilson.
