Swans of Gmunden downed Arkadia Traiskirchen 76-64 on Friday night to raise their record to 25-4 atop the Austrian-League standings. The hosts took a slim 23-17 margin after 10 minutes, increased it to 40-32 at halftime and held on in the second half through the duo of Mayes and Mayer: Deteri Mayes scored 28 points and Matthias Mayer posted 11 points and 14 rebounds. Raiffeisen Furstenfeld continue to challenge for the top spot after topping Worthersee Pirtaen 89-79 behind 20 points from Jason Detrick. Raiffeisen improved to 24-5. In other action, the Bulls of Kapfenberg got 36 points from Jason Youngblood to pick up 94-109 road win over Xion Dukes of Klosterneuburg, while Oberwart Gunners crushed Kraftwerk Wels 78-66 as Corey Muirhead bagged 16 points.
