Rogier Jansen - Hanzevast Capitals MyGuide Amsterdam maintained its five-victory lead atop the Dutch League by beating Landstede 85-74 on Saturday. MyGuide outscored Landstede in each period as it improved to 22-4 in the standings. Mohamed Abukar scored 16 and Petervan Paassen added 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead Amsterdam. Darnell Wilson paced Landstede with 23 points and 9 boards. Second place West Brabant Giants downed Upstairs Weert 74-92 thanks to Domien Loubry’s 19 points and double-doubles from Devonne Giles and Tim Blue. Defending champion EiffelTowers Den Bosch edged Aris Friesland 85-86 thanks to 18 points from Marcel Aarts and 13 from Dean Oliver. Roy Booker posted 23 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists in defeat. In other games, Matrixx Magixx trumped Zorg & Zekerheid 107-79 as Chris Copeland scored 28 and Hanzevast Capitals overcame Den Helder Seals 89-77 thanks to 34 points from Rogier Jansen and a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds by Guido Grunheid.
