Andrew Wisniewski - Maccabi ElectraMaccabi Electra Tel Aviv returned to the Israeli Cup final after a year away and will face Bnei Hasharon on Thursday for the first title of 2010. Maccabi pulled away in the second half to rout Barak Netanya 81-65 in the second semifinal on Monday at Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv. Earlier Bnei Hasharon secured its third trip to the finals in the last six years by beating Ironi Ashkelon 69-61. Netanya played a strong first half and trailed only 35-31 at halftime, however Wisniewski and Doron Perkins together helped push Maccabi ahead at the start of the third quarter and Bluthenthal triple took the lead to double figures. The lead reached 56-40 by the end of the third quarter and the outcome was never in doubt from that point. Wisniewski led Maccabi with 15 points, Raviv Limonad added 14, Pnini 12 and Bluthenthal scored 11. Robert Rothbart paced Netanya with 18 points and Danilo Pinnock added 17. Earlier, Sam Clancy produced 20 points and 8 rebounds and Ron Steele scored 15 for Bnei Hasharon, which held off Ashkelon and sealed the win on a late three-pointer by former ULEB Cup champion Erez Katz.
