Ventspils evened the Latvian League finals at 1-1 with a 72-75 win at VEF Riga on Wednesday. Oritseweyinmi Efejuku scored 10 and grabbed 9 rebounds and Brandon Hunter tallied 17 and 10 for the winners. The game went to the wire and Sandis Valters had a shot to tie the game for Riga. Arturs Berziņs and Janis Strelnieks added 16 points apiece to a Ventspils attack that was comprised mostly of four players. Valters led Riga with 18 points and Kristaps Janicenoks scored 13 in defeat.
