Defending champion Lietuvos Rytas took an easy win in one of the semifinals against Klapeida Neptunas by 84-65. Martynas Gecevicius led the winners with 18 points and Kenan Bajramovic and Steponas Babrauskas helped with 11 each. The deal was soon falling on Lietuvos Rytas' side as after a 13-7 start, Klapeida had a shy reaction but Rytas still dominated after 10 minutes, 20-17. The second quarter started with a 5-0 for Rytas that sent Klapeida to a four-minute scoring drought. However, that was still not good enough for the defending champs to pull away, as at the break they were only leading by four points, 30-26. After resumption, Klapeida even managed to jump ahead at 33-34, but Khalid El-Amin ressurrected Rytas and the hosts finally managed the first double-digit lead of the game at 55-45. After 30 minutes, the lead was up to 16 points, 63-47. The final period was a mere formality in which Rytas simply increased the lead to a final win.
In the other semifinal, Zalgiris succeeded against Rudupis, but had a harder time doing it since in the end it only won by two points, 75-73. Paulius Jankunas led the winners with 20 points, Marcus Brown had 11 and Trent Plaisted nailed 10. Zalgiris was ahead the whole first half, which came to an end with a 39-34 lead for the Kaunas team. However, Rudupis managed to tie the game at 47-47 in the third period, which was only broken by a 10-0 spurt started by Brown's two straight threes. However, Zalgiris' rival would not lower its guard and was soon getting close again in the last period to 60-58. In the last minutes it all came down to the free throws, With 71-70, Brown hit two attempts and after that, a steal by Plaisted allowed two more points for Zalgiris to break the game open in the last seconds despite the last two points of Rudupis to make the final 75-73.
