Carlos Suarez led the winners with 19 points. Ante Tomic added 17, including an easy basket to force overtime. Power Electronics Valencia improved to 20-9 and stayed third by edging Meridiano Alicante 86-79 at home on Sunday with 20 points from Jeremy Richardson. Caja Laboral downed Assignia Manresa 83-89 on the road on Saturday. Brad Oleson paced the winners with 19 points. Asefa Estudiantes topped Baloncesto Fuenlabrada 97-73 in Madrid on Sunday behind 24 points and 10 rebounds from Nik Caner-Medley. Gran Canaria 2014 confirmed its outstanding moment by thrashing DKV Joventut 69-93. An unstoppable Jaycee Carroll paced the winners with 35 points. Cajasol registered an 85-84 overtime road loss against Menorca Basquet, just a week before the Eurocup Finals. Unicaja picked up a 90-67 road loss against Lagun Aro GBC. In other games, CB Granada upset Blancos de Rueda Valladolid 62-67 while Bizkaia Bilbao Basket thrashed CAI Zaragoza 79-56.

Tomic added 17 while Sergio Llull had 12 for Madrid. Joe Ingles led Barcelona with 14 points. Roger Grimau added 12 while Erazem Lorbek and Alan Anderson each had 11 for the hosts, that rallied from a double-digit deficit to get a one-point lead, 56-57, with 3 minutes left. The game turned into a thriller, as Anderson gave Barcelona a 62-64 with 16 seconds left in regulation. An easy basket by Tomic sent the game to overtime, 64-64. Pablo Prigioni, Tomic and Suarez shined late in the extra period to lead Madrid to an important home win. Power Electronics Valencia improved to 20-9 and stayed third by edging Meridiano Alicante 86-79 at home on Sunday. Richardson paced the winners with 20 points. Dusko Savanovic and Serhiy Lishchuk each added 15 while Omar Cook dished 10 assists for Valencia, that led all the way in the second half. A three-pointer by Cook sealed the outcome, 83-70, with 2 minutes to go. Caja Laboral moved up to 19-10 by edging Assignia Manresa 83-89 on the road on Sunday. Oleson led the winners with 19 points. Pau Ribas added 13, Mirza Teletovic, Fernando San Emeterio and Stanko Barac each had 12 while Marcelinho Huertas for 11 for Laboral. An inspired Oleson allowed Laboral to get a 30-43 margin at the break. Manresa rallied and got an 81-80 lead with 50 seconds left. San Emeterio took over with a three-point play and free throws by Ribas and Oleson sealed the outcome, 83-87, down the stretch.

Asefa Estudiantes survived a tough test by topping Baloncesto Fuenlabrada 97-73 in Madrid on Sunday behind 24 points and 10 rebounds from Caner-Medley. Josh Asselin added 16 points, Albert Oliver had 15 while Ty Ellis got 14 for Estudiantes, that led 48-47 midway through the third quarter. A 14-0 run allowed Estudiantes to seal the outcome, 62-47, as Fuenlabrada never recovered. Gran Canaria 2014 confirmed its outstanding moment by thrashing DKV Joventut 69-93. Carroll paced the winners with 35 points on 6-of-9 two-pointers, 6-of-8 triples and 5-of-5 free throws. Gran Canaria led 40-47 at halftime, boosted its margin to 52-72 after 30 minutes and never looked back. Cajasol registered an 85-84 overtime road loss against Menorca Basquet, just a week before the Eurocup Finals. Cuthbert Victor paced the winners with 20 points. Txemi Urtasun had 21 points for Cajasol but missed a game-winning shot at the end of regulation. Paul Davis added 17 while Tomas Satoransky added 10. An outstanding Victor and a late turnover by Satoransky allowed Menorca to win the game down the stretch. Unicaja picked up a 90-67 road loss against Lagun Aro GBC. Andy Panko led Lagun Aro with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Joel Freeland led Unicaja with 26 points and 8 rebounds.
